Sunbelt Rentals receives UKAS accreditation for inspection services on lifting equipment
Sunbelt Rentals has been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for inspection services conforming to the ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard.
This accreditation recognises our capabilities against the highest standards in the industry and reinforces our commitment to maintaining market-leading inspection services with powered and manual lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
Inspection services play an important role in providing assurance to customers of the operational safety of the lifting equipment used on their sites. In achieving this accreditation we have demonstrated our inspection service policies, practices, and procedures are consistent in terms of quality, independence, impartiality, and technical compliance.
This enables us to ensure we conduct thorough inspection services on lifting and material handling equipment, including fixed and loose lifting equipment.
To be awarded this accreditation, we underwent an audit process to review the quality management system development, management system documentation, initial assessments into the lifting equipment and the clearance of non-conformances to ensure these met the standards set by UKAS.
