MPBA Committees

Technical Committee Purpose

Ensures that MPBA members have the best and most up-to-date technical information and guidance on all legislation and statutory requirements that could possibly affect the design or use of members products

Communicate with national and local governments, public authorities, standardizing bodies, etc., in respect of legislation and standards affecting the industry , also to represent members collectively to those bodies

Work together to write codes of practice, maintain existing codes of practice up to current legislation.

Health & Safety Committee Purpose

MPBA’s Health and Safety Committee takes full management control of all health and safety aspects associated within the industry.

The committee always strives to ensure that MPBA members have the best and most up-to-date health and safety information and guidance on all legislation and statutory requirements that could possibly affect the workplace or use of members’ products and services.

Marketing Committee Purpose  

The committee works to ensure that we raise awareness of the industry sector, through publications, social media and the MPBA website. Works with organisers to have a presence at exhibitions and conferences to increase the profile of members of the association.

Sustainability Committee Purpose

We have formed a Sustainability Committee to focus on the development of industry standards and guidance, in addition to ensuring we are able to use our position as a Trade Association to ensure we lobby relevant parties to ensure recognition of our industry.  ​
