MPBA Committees

Technical Committee

Ensures that MPBA members have the best and most up-to-date technical information and guidance on all legislation and statutory requirements that could affect the design or use of members' products.

Communicates with national and local governments, public authorities, standardising bodies, and others in respect of legislation and standards affecting the industry, and represents members collectively to those bodies.

Works together to write and maintain codes of practice, keeping them up to date with current legislation.

Health & Safety Committee

Management control of all health and safety aspects associated with the industry.

Strives to ensure that MPBA members have the best and most up to date health and safety information and guidance on all legislation and statutory requirements that could affect the workplace or the use of members' products and services.

Marketing Committee

The committee works to ensure that we raise awareness of the industry sector, through publications, social media and the MPBA website. Works with organisers to have a presence at exhibitions and conferences to increase the profile of members of the association.


Sustainability Committee

We have formed a Sustainability Committee to focus on the development of industry standards and guidance, in addition to ensuring we are able to use our position as a Trade Association to ensure we lobby relevant parties to ensure recognition of our industry.
