Wernick Events sign three-year deal with The Royal Welsh Show

Wernick Events are pleased to announce they have secured a three-year deal with The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society (RWAS) to supply cabins for the annual Royal Welsh Show. The RWAS was formed in 1904 and is a charity-based company that supports the development of agriculture and the rural economy in Wales.

The Royal Welsh Show is an agricultural event stretched over 150 acres of land that lasts four days and is nestled in the glorious, scenic mid-Wales countryside. The showground was first used in 1963 and has been extensively developed into a permanent facility that plays host to numerous dedicated venues that are well equipped to cater to all events. This year The Royal Welsh Show will take place from Monday 24th July to Thursday 27th July. There is a wide range of activities throughout the show which includes forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sport, entertainment and attractions.

Liam Muldoon, Managing Director of Wernick Events commented, “Wernick Events is elated to have agreed to a new three-year deal with RWAS. Our staff are committed and passionate, and I believe this has manifested and grown over the years gone by”.

Having a 20-year long-term working relationship with RWAS, Wernick Events provide them with female and male toilets, urinals, disabled toilets, shower blocks and waste tanks while also covering their waste servicing for the whole show. Wernick Events also cater to the needs of the BBC on-site, delivering up to 14 units for the use of their on-site production compound.

As well as The Royal Welsh Show, RWAS also hold the Winter Fair with the BBC. This is a two-day fair that is full of competitions, festivities and Christmas shopping. Wernick Events supply this fair with 12 units every November.

Andrew Crockett, Estate Manager from The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society commented, “we have worked with Wernick Events for years and have always chosen them to accommodate our show. Dealing with a dedicated manager who has a good understanding of the show and the needs of the site really helps make setting up more efficient for all concerned. That is why having this three-year deal is important to us as we know we will keep on having the great service we always receive”.
