Wernick Group celebrates after a sweep of prestigious awards at the 2024 MMC Awards
Industry leading national provider of permanent and temporary modular buildings, site accommodation and off grid power solutions, Wernick Group excelled at the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Awards.
Amidst nominations across eight categories, Wernick took home an impressive four awards, including Project of the Year in Commercial/Retail/Office, Manufacturer of the Year in Construction, an Individual Achievement Award and Best Use of Temporary Construction for their exemplary efforts showcased in PSFlex.
The Project of the Year award was presented for Southmead Hospital, a two-story office building comprising 38 modules for the North Bristol NHS Trust.
Wernick's largest factory, located in Kenfig Port Talbot, earned the valued title of Manufacturer of the Year. This recognition stems from their proactive efforts in reducing carbon emissions, prioritising the wellbeing and training of their workforce, and consistently investing in state-of-the-art factory machinery.

East Anglia's 3 offshore wind project for Siemens Energy received the award for Best Use of Temporary Construction at the ceremony. This project featured a bespoke modular building which was designed to reduce carbon and help Siemens meet their environmental objectives.
To extend the celebrations, Andy King, Group Technical Director was awarded the Individual Achievement Award selected by the MPBA Council. Andy was recognised for his outstanding dedication and ability throughout his 23 years within the construction industry.
