Wernick Buildings wins £8.2m project for Queen Alexandra Hospital
Wernick Buildings has acquired a £8.2m project for Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. The two-storey building is scheduled for completion at the end of the year and provides additional bed space for the hospital.The building, which is made up of 77 modules and includes a link bridge to the main hospital building, was created using Wernick Buildings new HMflex building system. The new facility was specifically designed to complement the existing buildings on the site.In order to give the client a visual representation of the capabilities of our new HMflex building system, Wernick constructed a demonstration of a 4-bed ward in their factory in Port Talbot.
