New build for Birmingham Womens Hospital

By Wernick Buildings Limited in Industry News

As part of a redevelopment programme, Birmingham Womens Hospital planned to demolish their Norton Court building and replace it with a more modern facility.

While many of the departments could relocate to the main hospital building, there would still be a need for a new facility while Norton Courts replacement was under construction. It was imperative that the new building be delivered as quickly as possible to enable the demolition of the existing building.

The Trust approached Wernick Buildings to deliver the project after being impressed with their quality of work in the past.

Despite facing a number of challenges, Wernick successfully delivered a 3-storey facility and a car park for the Hospital.
