Sunbelt Rentals receives 12th prestigious RoSPA Award

Sunbelt Rentals has been awarded a12th consecutive Gold Award from RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) demonstrating our business’ continued commitment to health and safety excellence.

The application process for this award involved completing a rigorous submission, where our expert team demonstrated their ability to deliver outstanding health and safety practices at depots across the country.

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards recognises organisations’ commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work, looking at entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Safety is one of Sunbelt Rentals core values and number one priority. This award recognises our focus on safety, which is part of our 'Our Planet' commitment to ensuring the happiness of our colleagues through creating a safe, inclusive working environment where everyone can thrive.

Mark Keily, SHEQ Director at Sunbelt Rentals, spoke about receiving this award for the 12th time, saying: “A twelfth consecutive Gold Medal award demonstrates our continued commitment to ensuring our health and safety is of the highest standards.

“Year-on-year we strive to grow and develop as a company and we are proud to say the health and safety of our teams is always our number one priority.

“Every year we take further steps to invest in our health and safety and overall customer experience. This year our main focus will be on further training for our teams, implementing new technologies that will help support our internal safety processes and a significant ongoing investment in equipment to ensure that we’re only using the highest standard of kit.”
