Portable Offices new flagship depot launch brings rewards

Following its major relocation and development of new offices and yard facilities last winter, the Derby office has enjoyed a time of unprecedented growth with orders from new and existing clients.

The new 28,000 sq metre site featuring the latest state-of-the-art portable buildings has enabled the depot to showcase its range of products to potential customers.

Portable Offices’ Depot Manager, Bob Davies, commented:

“I am delighted to report that our new buildings are proving to be the ideal vehicle for demonstrating what can be achieved with cutting-edge techniques.

“We have been very busy and have been able to demonstrate the versatility of our portable buildings like never before, thanks to our new facilities. Portable Offices’ other depots around the country have been able to tap into this and have visited the site with their own clients to see first-hand the potential of our buildings.

“The yard team are now able to work in optimum conditions, whatever the weather and have access to the best possible facilities.”

Several recent contracts stand out and these include a large cabin complex for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn and a superb cabin to provide a marketing suite for a major house builder.

Derby office also has a couple of new starters in the office:

Jenny Worthington has joined the team as Customer Account Manager, Sales and will respond to new and existing customers providing a professional first port of call and arranging quotations before handing them over to logistics and operations.

Joanne Field has joined as Operations Co-ordinator and will provide a seamless interface between sales and operations, liaising with yard and drivers to fulfil contracts to the highest possible standards.
