It is with great excitement that we share the news of this game-changing development, which will serve as the new home for our Sandycroft Depot Team as well as head office teams in Accounts, HR, and Marketing. This move signifies not just a change in location but the beginning of a bright and prosperous future for our company as we continue to grow and innovate.

A Day of Celebration

The grand opening event was a day filled with joy and anticipation. We were honoured to welcome suppliers, customers, and depot managers from across our network to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion. The highlight of the day was the official opening ceremony, graciously performed by Jackie Maginnis, CEO of the Modular & Portable Building Association (MPBA). Her presence underpinned the importance of our new office within the industry.

A Tour of Innovation

As the Sandycroft team proudly guided our guests through the new premises, it was clear that this is no ordinary office. Our bespoke facility boasts a range of cutting-edge features designed to create an environment that is both functional and inspiring. Highlights include a state-of-the-art air conditioning and heating system, natural ventilation, PV solar panels with battery backup, and electric vehicle charging stations. Additionally, the office is equipped with radiant heat panels in wet areas, PIR sensors in toilet areas, and energy-efficient lighting that adjusts to natural light levels.

Modern and Welcoming Atmosphere

One of the standout features of the office is its modern and welcoming atmosphere, which is set to transform perceptions of what a modular building can offer. The space has been thoughtfully designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and productivity, while also providing areas where employees can relax and recharge. Acoustic noise baffle screens and integrated plumbing systems ensure that the office is both comfortable and efficient.

Enhanced Welfare Facilities

We are particularly proud of our new welfare facilities, which include a spacious canteen capable of accommodating over 40 people. This area provides a comfortable breakout space for our team to enjoy breaks and socialise. Additionally, we have installed modern shower and changing facilities to cater to our hard-working yard team, ensuring they have the amenities to stay on top of their game.

From a customer perspective, the new office provides a warm and inviting entrance, coupled with practical and accessible meeting spaces. The open-plan layout is not only aesthetically pleasing but also enhances communication and teamwork. The design prioritises comfort, ensuring that the workspace is light, airy, and conducive to professional excellence. With the most efficient heating and cooling system in the industry, the office is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking design.
