Portable Offices Wins National Building Award
Chester based Portable Offices has just received a prestigious award and enormous kudos taking the coveted first prize in the MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) award for its remarkable achievement on the SS Simon & Jude CE Primary School project in Bolton.
The award was for the best Temporary Building Project in Education/Healthcare/Events/Other.
The awards, run in conjunction with the MPBA (Modular Portable Buildings Association) aim to celebrate excellence and achievement in modern methods of construction.
Portable Offices provided a rapid response with an extensive education solution with a range of temporary education accommodation to enable SS Simon & Jude CE Primary School in Great Lever, Bolton to reopen to pupils just weeks after a fire devastated the facility in the winter.
Portable Offices’ Depot Manager, Sue Holland, said:
“The contract was a collaborative success for all of Portable Offices’ depots nationwide but Sandycroft played a pivotal role.”
A total of 73 buildings were delivered to site which included 69 modular sections.
