1. RIBA’s (the Royal Institute of British Architects) CPD seminar Is Offsite the Future of Construction?
We have been the official sponsor of this seminar throughout 2018. We will once again join speaker Markus Seifermann of ÜberRaum Architects for the next event on the 7th of November.
Find out what is so unique about modular construction and design and discover the potential of this burgeoning industry. The Wernick team will be available for all your technical queries (and there is no such thing as a silly question!)

Seminar description:
Current technological advancements have the potential to strip pre-fabrication of its cheap image and overcome historic prejudices. This seminar will provide you with an overview of current tendencies in off-site construction, and discuss its future as an important cornerstone of contemporary, efficient and sustainable design strategies for architects.

2. RSAW (Royal Society of Architects in Wales) 25th Annual Conference
We have also been invited to support the RSAW (Royal Society of Architects in Wales) 25th Annual Conference. This year entitled -The Value of the Architect. The event will take place on the 30th of November. Again, the team will be around to field any question on modular buildings.

Following the tragedy of the Grenfell Tower fire, the whole of the construction industry has come under close scrutiny. RSAW seeks to find a new way forward by asking What is the value of the architect in todays challenging economic and environmental conditions?

3. Education Buildings Scotland
On the 21st and 22nd of November, we will be exhibiting at Education Buildings Scotland.
Education Buildings Scotland is an opportunity for all those involved in supplying spaces for education in Scotland to meet, learn and celebrate. Buildings and ancillary products for early years, schools, colleges and universities can be sourced from the range of exhibitors at the event.
The two day conference programme offers advice, inspiration and guidance in this area and the evening awards event provides an opportunity to recognise excellence and achievement in the industry.
You may have considered a modular solution for your school buildings project. Offsite construction lends itself perfectly to the school calendar and the restraints of building on school premises. We have a wealth of experience in the education sector and Wernick buildings can be procured through the SPA framework.
