Kensite has taken another major step in its transformation journey with the appointment of Nathan McGuinness as Depot Manager.
The move is a clear sign of intent from the Atherton-based business as it accelerates growth and positions itself as the go-to provider in the welfare space.
Nathan brings with him a wealth of industry experience, having risen through the ranks at Wernick via its graduate programme. During his eight years there, he gained a comprehensive understanding of depot operations and logistics, culminating in high-profile roles such as Major Projects Manager and ultimately Depot Manager at Wernick’s successful Manchester site.
Kensite’s strategic transformation, led by Managing Director Chloe Ainscough, has included a series of key hires across both its operational and office-based teams. The business, with almost 40 years of heritage, is undergoing a dynamic modernisation process focused on quality, service and long-term partnerships within the construction and events sectors.
“Nathan’s arrival is another statement of our intent to deliver market leading welfare solutions while building a team that embodies our values and ambitions,” said Chloe Ainscough, Managing Director at Kensite.
“His background in high-performing depots, major projects, and his commitment to continuous improvement makes him the ideal person to drive our next phase of growth. We’re growing with purpose, and that includes investing in people, partnerships, processes, and the communities we serve.”
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Nathan’s role will carry a strong social value remit—ensuring Kensite continues to support the communities it operates in. From local employment initiatives to partnering with educational and charitable organisations, Nathan will play a central role in embedding social value into Kensite’s everyday activities.
Nathan McGuinness, newly appointed Depot Manager at Kensite, said:
“I’m delighted to have joined Kensite, especially at such an exciting time in the company’s history. Many people forget that it’s a business that’s been around for nearly four decades, but it’s only in the last 12 months that they’ve truly stepped up and shown the market what they’re capable of.
“The opportunity here is huge. The company has already made big moves, and I’m here to take that even further by raising standards in both the product and the service we deliver on-site. I’m also passionate about making sure we have a positive impact beyond the job, whether that’s supporting local schools, creating job opportunities, or delivering on social value commitments for our clients. We’ve got a bit of work to do, but that’s what I’m here for and we’re going to make some noise while we do it.”
