S Jones Modular Buildings scores with football club’s new modular hospitality suite
Modular building provider, S Jones Modular Buildings, part of Walsall-based S Jones Containers, has delivered a stunning new two storey, glass fronted hospitality suite for Hednesford Town Football Club in Staffordshire.
S Jones Modular Buildings manufactured the bespoke building offsite, using 20 individual 20 ft modular units stacked to provide a light and modern two-storey 576m2 facility complete with covered balcony overlooking the pitch.
Hednesford Town Football Club is a thriving non-league semi-professional football club in Staffordshire with a growing youth academy and a strong commitment to the local community. With a history dating back to 1880, the club is undergoing a major refurbishment programme to enhance its grounds and facilities. A key highlight is the new two-storey facility, which was manufactured offsite by Walsall-based S Jones Modular Buildings and installed in just two weeks at the start of October 2024 as the new season got underway.
The front face of the building features full-height glazed units, ensuring a clear, uninterrupted view of the pitch. The top level includes a covered balcony area, offering a unique vantage point for matchdays. Designed with an internal staircase, toilet facilities, a kitchen, and contemporary anthracite grey exteriors, the building delivers a modern and functional workspace.
A key feature of the ground floor is the new and improved club shop, designed to accommodate the growing demand for club merchandise. The expanded retail space offers supporters a more convenient and engaging shopping experience.
