Meet the Three Women who have Worked at Springfield for 100 Years
Springfield doesn’t just support women on International Women’s Day, in fact, we have three women in senior roles – essential to the business and between them they have 100 years at Springfield!
Our Managing Director, Lyndsay Duggan joined the company straight out of Wigan business college. She started on the shop floor and worked her way up to the boardroom, eventually taking over from our founder and her dad Ken, who retired in 2011.
Lyndsay has spent twelve years heading up the company and increasing sales, she has worked tirelessly to build the company to its current multi-million-pound state.
Outside of her work hours, Lyndsay can be found relaxing, socialising with friends and travelling with her family, husband Graham and two children, Grace and Harry.
Our General Manager, Diane Rajcza, is a skilled multi-tasker. She has many roles within the business including production scheduling, financial planning and building client relationships.
Diane joined the business 43 years ago as a temporary cover for our bookkeeper. After proving her value with valuable ideas and initiatives, Ken made her a full-time member of the team.
Diane has been essential in building our relationship with the MPBA, which as you can see is still thriving.
During her off time, Diane spends most weekends travelling the UK in her campervan with her husband John. They regularly attend music festivals across the country, and she even rides a Harley-Davidson to motorcycle rallies.
Our Admin Manager, Claire, looks after everything office related – from procurement to financial management and reigning in the rest of our team. Claire started with the company 30 years ago as a part-time admin assistant.
Claire is now responsible for sourcing materials and paying suppliers, constantly on the lookout for a better price or an opportunity to further improve our sustainability with new products.
Claire spends her free time with her dog Bailey. Bailey is always present in the office and has made fast friends with the team who love to make a fuss of him. Even the postman is a fan, bringing him treats every day.
