Following an expansion, Goresbrook school now offers further education to their students by opening a brand-new sixth form, in addition to a primary and secondary school.
Accommodation was required for their new sixth form pupils which included classrooms and a dining room. The features include large windows, toilets, air conditioning, internal staircase, carpet flooring and suspended ceiling.
The client specified a building that is aesthetically consistent with their current main school building.
Goresbrook school needed a high-quality building installed within a short period, which would also suit their budget.
The refurbished modular building method provides a high quality, fast solution that can be tailor-made to meet the client’s requirements.
The project was acquired through a tender, and Wernick Refurbished Buildings secured the project due to their history of delivering similar projects in the education sector.
Wernick also visited the site to undertake a survey, and they impressed the client with their knowledge of the project, conveying a genuine passion to take it on.
Pupils and staff are ecstatic about the project and were amazed it took just six weeks to build onsite.
Akmol Hussain, School Business Manager commented,“The speed at which it was built offsite and assembled onsite was impressive. The original internal and external design has met all expectations and both staff and students are extremely happy with the building.”
