Glidevale Protect are proud that their thermally efficient construction membranes have played a part in Barratt Developments plc's Z House flagship zero carbon home
With energy efficiency and carbon reduction high on the agenda at COP26 Glidevale Protect are proud that their thermally efficient construction membranes have played a part in Barratt Developments PLC's Z House flagship zero carbon home, which aims to deliver a carbon reduction of 125% against current standards.
Glidevale Protect's reflective wall membranes Protect TF200 Thermo and Protect VC Foil Ultra have been used on Z House to deliver a low emissivity solution through the use of still airspaces, in turn creating radiant barriers that ,help prevent heat loss from the home reducing energy consumption and delivering a low overall U-value. The membranes were installed offsite to timber frame panels by specialist timber frame manufactures and designers, Oregon Timber Frame Ltd before being delivered and constructed on site.
