PREMIER AWARDED PLACE ON £1.6BN PUBLIC SECTOR FRAMEWORK FOR MODULAR CONSTRUCTION

By Premier Modular Limited in Industry News

Premier Modular, one of the UK’s leading offsite construction specialists, has been awarded a place on the £1.6bn NHS Shared Business Services modular construction framework.

Premier was successful in all seven lots applied for and scored highly in the top quartile of modular specialists.

The NHS Shared Business Services framework will run for up to four years and can be used by a range of public sector clients in the education, healthcare and residential sectors.

To qualify, Premier had to demonstrate their expertise and experience in offering a full turnkey construction solution, including feasibility studies, planning applications, architectural design, enabling works, site works, landscaping and commissioning.

David Harris, Managing Director of Premier Modular said, “Our teams from across the business collaborated on the bid for this key framework, and it is a major achievement to have succeeded in every lot we applied for and with such high scores. This is a very valuable industry benchmark for our performance, environmental commitments, and capabilities for both our permanent, fast-track offsite solutions and temporary modular buildings. Our high scores also demonstrate exceptional value for money for public sector building clients.”

“The NHS Shared Business Services framework delivers significant cost and efficiency savings for the public sector. We are delighted to have expanded our presence on the framework with places now in seven different lots – from purpose-designed hospital facilities and health centres, to decant school buildings and extensions, and affordable housing.”

“We offer a highly flexible range of building solutions which are available for hire, purchase, and long-term lease to suit funding situations from both revenue and capital budgets.”

The efficiency and sustainability benefits of Premier’s offsite manufacturing systems support the Government’s construction targets for increased productivity, reduced costs, programme savings, and reduced impact on the environment.

Building applications under the framework include hospital buildings, housing to address homelessness, care homes, teaching facilities for schools, and student accommodation.

Contracts can be awarded directly or via mini competition to reduce the time and cost of public sector building procurement.
