A Special Build for a Special School

The latest addition to Ty Gwyn Special School in Cardiff is no ordinary school building. Delivered by Wernick Buildings, this single-storey teaching facility includes an array of SEN-friendly features.

The new building contains withdrawal areas, sensory classrooms with controllable coloured lighting and interactive floor projections as well as enhanced safety specifications to provide the pupils with a safe and engaging learning environment.

Externally, brick cladding and trussed roof were added to give the building a more traditional construction appearance.
