Wernick Events awarded Events Suppliers of the Year!
Wernick Events were crowned Event Suppliers of the Year at a glittering ceremony in Bath last week held by the National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA).
The NOEA, established in 1979, is the only trade association specialising in the Outdoor Events Industry, connecting 500 Members covering Local Authorities, Festival and Event Organisers, Universities/Students, Entertainment Agencies, Promoters, Venues and Suppliers of Equipment and Services together with Practitioners generally in the World of Outdoor Events. The association is dedicated to enhancing professionalism in the outdoor events industry through education, networking, lobbying, advice and creating business opportunities.
The Event Supplier of the Year Award is designed to recognise suppliers who are market leaders in their field, displaying innovative working methods and providing quality customer service to clients both new and old. The winner had to prove demonstrable business growth and provide testimonials from satisfied clients.
Wernick Events submitted a joint application between the Seating & Accommodation teams, detailing their various successes this year, including breaking a UK flat floor seating record while on tour with Rod Stewart. The Team also presented evidence of their work with high profile clients, such as The London Marathon and London’s Lindley Hall for President Barrack Obama’s Young Leaders Q&A. The submission also mentioned the teams’ innovative work with Cancer Research UK, devising obstacles for their Pretty Muddy and Snowflake Winter races.
The Judges commented that the Events Team had shown “consistently high standards” and provided “huge amount of support to the event industry” over the past year, making them worthy winners of the award.
Events Manager Liam Muldoon told us: “We’re incredibly pleased to be named Event Supplier of the Year for 2016. Our success this year and our success at the NOEA awards is a testament to the consistent hard work of the teams across the Wernick Events divisions. We’re having an amazing 2016 and this award is just the icing on the cake!
