Award-Winning site management at HS2

By Premier Modular Limited in Industry News

Fari Bajgiran, offsite construction site manager, has won a Euston Winning Our Way (WOW) Award in the Supply Chain category for his expert management of rental modules for HS2.

Premier Modular has supported multiple areas of the development of HS2 with long-term rental solutions during its construction. The site, managed by Fari, consists of almost 200 modules, used for offices, canteen, breakout spaces and meeting rooms, spanning over five storeys for the team constructing the new HS2 Euston station. Additionally, Fari oversees Camden’s Construction Skills Centre, which provides key skills and training for the next generation of workers in the industry.

Fari has worked on the project since it commenced in 2022 and, during that time, has managed over 170 employees both in the factory and on site to ensure that this complex project is delivered with maximum efficiency.

The award was presented to Fari due to his exceptional problem-solving skills amidst various challenges. He was recognised for exceeding expectations in forward planning and building strong relationships as a result of setting clear expectations with clients and his team. With daily, achievable team goals, he was able to easily measure progress and ensure that he met all programme targets.

Fari’s commitment to the operation, which minimised delays to the project manager’s programme was recognised by the judges of the awards. This is the second award that Fari has won due to his dedication to the HS2 program, having previously won the Mace Dragados JV (MDJV) Quality Award from the MDJV Quality Team in September 2023.

“We’re extremely proud of the work that Fari has been managing on HS2 and of the awards he’s received for his exceptional commitment,” comments Mark Rooney, Rental Divisional Director.

“He’s dedicated, great to work with and always ready to provide a solution to a challenge, embodying the Premier Modular values in the factory and on site. This award is well deserved, and we are proud to support Fari as a member of the Premier Modular family.” Find out more about our other award-winning projects here.
