Introducing Laundry Market – Cube’s Sustainability-Conscious Lifestyle Fashion Brand
Cube International, a group of unique integrated companies within the sports, retail, merchandise and event industries, is delighted to announce the launch of its own sustainability-conscious lifestyle fashion brand – Laundry Market.
Laundry Market’s initial capsule collection has been designed for fashion-conscious men, women and children looking to reduce their impact on the planet. Everyday essentials created with the promotion of reduced wardrobes and a world free of overconsumption in mind. A world with less clutter, less waste, less smoke, and mirrors. The stunning range includes timeless designs, perfect for everyday wear, with colour pallets curated for all tastes.
The Laundry Market brand is the brainchild of Cube’s CEO, Ed Boardman, and Cube’s Creative Director, Bobby Woods, and not only showcases the team’s creative concepts and ground-breaking designs but also emphasises Cube’s commitment to sustainability.
Designer, Bobby Woods said: “The Laundry Market brand is not looking to design for seasons; it’s looking to create considered collections for longevity. Building pieces that will stand the test of time, both in terms of craftsmanship and their reduced impact on the planet.”
From using organic cotton to working closely with suppliers, the team at Laundry Market has created a stunning range of classic, eco-friendly designs, inspired by vintage 90’s street style – each piece perfect for everyday use. The timeless garments are designed to be essential items for anyone’s wardrobe, made from some of the best materials in the world, and brought together with quality, sustainability, and affordability at its core.
Sustainability is at the heart of Laundry Market’s entire design and manufacturing processes, from fabrics, trims and 100% biodegradable packaging, to the transportation of its products. The new fashion brand is committed to minimising waste and leftover inventory by producing in limited quantities, allowing the company to create considered collections, whilst disrupting the ideology that fashion needs to be fast paced and mass produced. Laundry Market will also plant a tree for every order placed through the One Tree Planted Organisation.
Bobby added: “To help our clients understand the value of everything that they’re buying, we’ve broken down every cost that goes into the making of each garment. We’re trying to help everyone be more conscious of what they’re buying and hold ourselves accountable for any environmental impact we’re making. We work closely with our factories in Portugal to ensure we’re as transparent as possible with our customers, so that their fashion choices are made easier.”
