Pickerings Wins Place on New Public Sector Framework

By Pickerings in Industry News

Pickerings, the supplier of high quality portable site accommodation and related services, has been awarded a place on a new framework agreement for the public sector.

The framework is managed by YPO that was established by 13 local authorities in 1974 and provides products to schools, local authorities, charities, emergency services, public sector and other businesses. The framework will run until 2024 and has national coverage to public sector organisations with an estimated value of up to £15M.

Pickerings was successful in several lots for the hire and purchase of site accommodation, modular buildings, mobile classrooms, healthcare related modular buildings and much more.

Amongst the benefits to organisations using the framework is that they would not need to run a full OJEU procurement if they procure via the framework agreement which would result in reduced timescales; the assured supplier standards of the framework mean there is no need for “pre-qualified” assessment to be carried out.

Pickerings Managing Director, Neil Moss, said “We are extremely pleased to have been successful in being awarded a place on this new framework agreement. We have a strong reputation for providing high quality portable accommodation and customer service in the sectors we serve. We look forward to expanding our market share over the next 4 years by supplying to more local authorities and public sector organisations.”

Pickerings has twelve depots nationwide and its head office is at Measham in the East Midlands. Pickerings operates in many sectors including education, industry & commerce, health, government and construction.
