GAP Hire Solutions Wins RoSPA Gold Awards for Fleet Safety for Fourth Consecutive Year

By GAP Group Limited in Industry News

GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent hire company, has been awarded a RoSPA Gold Award for Fleet Safety for the fourth consecutive year, in recognition of the strong safety culture embedded across the business.

The award reflects GAP’s ongoing commitment to excellence in occupational road risk management, an area the company treats as a core operational priority rather than a compliance exercise.

With a fleet of more than 1,300 vehicles, including over 350 HGVs, 700 LCVs and more than 300 company cars, of which over 100 are electric, maintaining the highest standards of fleet safety and compliance is a significant undertaking. Achieving Gold for a fourth successive year demonstrates the robustness of the fleet safety systems and processes GAP has built to manage that responsibility.

The result is a testament to the dedication of GAP’s entire team, who work daily to protect colleagues, customers and other road users. Their collective commitment continues to drive industry-leading standards and reinforce GAP’s position as a leader in fleet safety and operational excellence.

David Munro, Head of Asset Management and Supply Chain at GAP Hire Solutions, commented, "GAP is delighted to have been awarded RoSPA Fleet Safety Gold for the fourth consecutive year. The award is testament to the hard work and dedication of teams across the business, in particular our Transport and Depot Operations teams. We know there is more to do, and we remain committed to ongoing excellence in managing occupational road risk."

Achieving RoSPA Gold for a fourth consecutive year is a milestone GAP doesn’t take for granted. As the fleet continues to grow, the company remains focused on the same priority that earned this recognition in the first place: keeping colleagues, customers and communities safe on every road it operates on.
