We’re proud to announce that three long-serving members of our team — Dean Thomas, Nick Scholey and Wayne Tompkins — have been appointed as Directors.
At Intertech Contracts, we’ve always believed that our greatest strength lies in our people. That’s why we’re proud to announce that three long-serving members of our team — Dean Thomas, Nick Scholey and Wayne Tompkins — have been appointed as Directors.
Each of them has played a part in shaping Intertech over the years, helping us deliver exceptional commercial decorating and fit-out projects across the UK. Now, as Directors, they’ll continue to drive Intertech forward while leading in their own specialist areas.
A New Chapter for Intertech
This marks an exciting new chapter for our business. We’ve grown steadily since our early days, and today we’re proud to be commercial decorating contractorsand fit-out specialists delivering services nationwide to clients across multiple sectors.
The appointment of Dean, Nick and Wayne represents more than just a change in titles. It’s a reflection of our commitment to developing careers, recognising dedication and supporting growth from within.
Dean Thomas
Dean joined Intertech in 2002 as a decorator and quickly stood out for his leadership and teamwork. After earning his QCF Level 3 in Site Management in 2011, he continued to take on greater responsibility and manage more complex projects.
Over the years, Dean has become known for his calm approach, his focus on collaboration and his ability to deliver results on site.
Nick Scholey
Nick joined Intertech in 2008, bringing with him an impressive background that includes time as an RAF firefighter and 15 years with Howdens Joinery. His early work on nationwide Project SLAM builds gave him valuable experience in large-scale operations and technical quality control.
Today, Nick plays a key role across estimating, business development and fit-out delivery, combining his eye for detail with a passion for helping teams grow.
Wayne Tompkins
Wayne’s journey with Intertech began in 2008, when the company was still known as Prestige Contract Services Ltd. Starting as a purchasing clerk straight from university, he quickly moved into contract management before being promoted to Commercial Finance Manager after the rebrand to Intertech Contracts in 2017.
With 17 years of experience spanning every part of the business, Wayne continues to help steer our growth nationwide, keeping a clear focus on quality, efficiency and progress.
