Leading container conversion, hire and sales specialist S Jones Containers has become a member of the Modular and Portable Building Association (MPBA) as its new Modular Buildings Division continues to go from strength to strength.

The MPBA covers any company involved in the manufacture of modular buildings for sale or hire in a variety of sectors. Positioning itself as the voice of the industry, the MPBA is passionate about transforming the construction landscape and supporting the sector within the context of the wider construction industry. Becoming a full MPBA member allows S Jones Modular Buildings to add its voice to the Modern Methods of Construction world and cements the company’s reputation within this sector. The team will also have access to training, support from specialist interest groups and other useful resources along with networking opportunities.

Led by Business Development Manager Simon Willis together with Conversions General Manager Andrew Nicholls, S Jones Modular Buildings offers a durable, cost-effective, and quick to install solution for various sectors and uses - from classrooms to welfare units, and office or retail space. All its modular units are manufactured, insulated, and fitted by specialist engineers to ensure the buildings are ready to use upon delivery.

The decision to join the MPBA follows a period of consistently growing demand for the company’s modular buildings service. By investing in MPBA membership, it presents new opportunities to maintain the pace of its growth in this market and uphold its reputation for industry excellence and outstanding customer service.

Simon Willis, Business Development Manager S Jones Modular Buildings commented: “This is an exciting step for us as we continue to grow our modular offering, and we’re keen to explore new opportunities through being members of the MPBA. One of the key aims of the association is to identify opportunities and threats whilst ensuring that third parties understand the context of the industry and voice concerns to those with the power to make changes. We’re pleased to be a part of these conversations to champion the modular and portable building sector going forward.”
