A. Proctor Group Leads the Way with Recycled Membranes

By A Proctor Group in Industry News

The A. Proctor Group, recognised worldwide for its extensive portfolio of technically advanced thermal, acoustic and membrane products for the construction industry, is leading the way with a new product update offering the company’s Reflectashield® TF as one of the first breather membranes to feature up to 20% recycled content.

Reflectashield TF 0.81 is vapour permeable, has low emissivity and an enhanced foil surface designed to improve the thermal resistance of timber and steel frame structures, and is ideally suited to timber frame construction. It has significant added thermal benefits to those offered by traditional breather membranes.

The water-resistant, non-woven polypropylene foil faced laminate has a unique patented three-layer composition, providing excellent breathability, as well as secondary protection to the building during construction and transportation to site.

Once Reflectashield TF 0.81 is applied to the walls, the primary wall covering should be installed within 3 months. The A. Proctor Group constantly reviews their product portfolio to keep up with current legislation. Reflectashield TF 0.81 complies well within the low vapour resistance requirements set out by BS 4016, TRADA and the NHBC.

The A. Proctor Group remains committed to lowering its environmental impact while offering customers the high-performance products needed to maintain a healthy building fabric.

Please note due to the nature of the recycled content, the white carrier colour may vary.
