JPS, celebrates receiving its FORS Silver and Constructionline Accreditations
Leading tool and plant hire firm, JPS, celebrates receiving its FORS Silver and Constructionline accreditations as it demonstrates its commitment to upholding high standards and practices across the construction industry.
The FORS Silver accreditation confirms that JPS employs good practice and complies with the requirements set by FORS Standard. This includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage. JPS went through a rigorous process of gathering data and undertaking staff training to be awarded this impressive industry standard. Similarly, its recognition by Constructionline highlights the firm as a high-quality supplier having gone through a pre-qualification assessment that puts them in front of the UK’s largest network of construction buyers.
Having already invested in a 70% electric fleet and bespoke industry leading welfare units, JPS is passionate about driving up industry standards across the board. These accreditations will support the firm in building value from beginning to end in the supply chain and procurement cycle whilst driving more efficiencies across the business.
John Young, Managing Director at JPS Services, says, “We are incredibly proud to have received these accreditations and continue to enhance JPS as one of the leading tool and plant hire firms. Since the business was acquired by UK Hire Group in 2022, we have implemented a range of positive changes that has seen the company grow from strength to strength making us a safer, smarter and greener company.
“These recognitions will not only allow us to continue to invest in the safety and development of our team, but it will also enable us to guarantee best practice for the services we provide to our customers.”
Shane Walker, General Manager of JPS Group, says “We have worked really hard to remodel JPS Group Services in the past year. With new product offerings and now new accreditations we are excited to be moving into a space where we are able to offer our clients a broader end to end service. From tower installations and welfare solutions to simple tool hire, we are proud to offer it all.”
From being named one of the top 30 powered access companies in the UK, by Cranes and Access as part of its annual survey, to recently investing in the largest sustainable welfare units available on the market, JPS is doing its part in improving standards across the construction industry.
