Portable Space Appoints New Managing Director
Portable Space, based in Bacton, Suffolk, has promoted one of its senior management team to lead the company into its next phase of development, with the appointment of Mark Dolman as Managing Director.
Over recent years, the business has expanded rapidly to become a sector leader in cabin hire, cabin sales, shipping container sales and conversions and modular building sales and is now implementing a strategic plan to double in size by 2026.
In his new role Mark Dolman is responsible for the daily management of the business, working with department managers and the team of 40 people to ensure that projects run smoothly and ensuring overall profitability of the company. His remit also includes reviewing and implementing internal procedures to further improve efficiency and ensure compliance.

The portable accommodation and storage industry continues to offer us lots of opportunities to further develop our products and services and we look forward to sharing these with our expanding customer base over the coming months and years.”
Portable Space was established in 2002 by Mark Black who now becomes Chairman, focusing on supporting and developing the senior management team to enable the business to grow sustainably and meet its strategic objectives.

Since joining us in a commercial role he has demonstrated his excellent managerial skills in all aspects of our operation and I look forward very much to working with him as we pursue our vision.”
