Tee's, Tricks & Team-building at the MPBA Golf Day
There’s nothing quite like hitting the fairways during the working week and having the opportunity to mix business with pleasure with fellow associates. And that’s exactly what we did at this year’s Modular & Portable Building Association’s (MPBA) golf day. Held at the spectacular woodside and waterside courses at Belton Woods in Lincolnshire, the annual event is a firm favourite with MPBA members and plays an important part in connecting all sectors of our industry.
Flawlessly organised and expertly executed, we have nothing but appreciation and praise for the MPBA team. A lasting memory of the day thanks to PGA Golf Professional & Honorary Member of the PGA, David Edwards, and his incredible Golf Trick Show, which provided a fabulou s source of entertainment for everyone.
The event is also a great fundraiser for the MPBA’s chosen charity of the year Ronald McDonald House Charites. This deserving independent charity provided a free ‘home away from home’ for more than 6,600 families who had children in hospital during 2022, and we are proud to be able to support such an impactful cause.
Back to the golf, and it wasn’t our year this year in topping the leaderboard. However, our focus is now on mastering a few golfing tricks and tips that we picked up from David so that we can bring the trophy home to our new HQ next year!
