Luciana Lightman, Mulalley’s Head of Temporary Works gets appointed as a Committee Member of the British Standards Institution (BSI)

The Directors would like to congratulate Luciana Lightman BEng CEng MICE, Mulalley’s Head of Temporary Works on her appointment as a Committee Member of the British Standards Institution (BSI).

​The BSI is the national standards body of the United Kingdom. BSI produces technical standards on a wide range of products and services and also supplies certification and standards-related services to businesses.

​Luciana said: “Being part of this committee allows me to contribute to the development and shaping of crucial (temporary works related) standards within our industry. It is an opportunity not only for personal growth but also to represent Mulalley at a national level, ensuring our expertise and values are recognized and influential. I am excited to bring back valuable insights and knowledge gained from my participation within this committee to Mulalley. This involvement will undoubtedly benefit our projects, ensuring that we stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices, ultimately boosting our competitive edge.”

​This appointment is testament to Luciana’s extensive knowledge of temporary works and will allow her to contribute to the development and shaping of the temporary works standards within our industry, and in turn will ensure that Mulalley stays conversant with the latest industry standards and best practices.
