Pickerings Opens New Swindon Depot
Pickerings, the national provider of modular buildings and portable accommodation, has opened its third new depot in recent months with a 10-acre depot in Wootton Bassett, near Swindon in Wiltshire.
The market leading site represents a multi-million pound investment with modern facilities consisting of a newly constructed office and workshop with an enormous storage yard. The depot is on a greenfield site close to the M4 Motorway giving speedy access to customer’s sites throughout the South-West and Wales.
The new site will replace the existing Pickerings depot in nearby Swindon and hold a large stock of their range of portable accommodation to provide a quicker response to customers and enable the company to take on more major projects.
Pickerings Managing Director, Neil Moss, said “Our new site in Wootton Bassett is another in our on-going depot development programme and is, probably, one of the largest depots in our industry. We continue to see increased demand for our modular buildings and portable accommodation in the South-West and throughout the country. This has been strengthened with the launch of our Pickerings+ range of products and services that provide our customers with a well-equipped, fully functioning building solution.”
Pickerings has twelve depots nationwide providing modular buildings, portable cabins and associated products and services for customers to hire, buy or lease purchase. They operate in many sectors including education, industry & commerce, government, health and construction.
