AJC EasyCabin pioneer renewable energy at the Executive Hire Show
Developing the use of renewables to power both their temporary buildings and as a standalone energy source at the top of AJC EasyCabin’s agenda, it wasn’t surprising that visitors to the Executive Hire Show flocked to the AJC EasyCabin stand.
The company displayed a wide range of sustainable equipment throughout the two days. These new innovations included;
The Solar Smart Site - This set-up is a clever combination of solar, battery and an advanced ‘plug n play‘ solar panel kit which will work individually or in tandem to provide clean energy for small, medium and large sites. The Solar Smart Site has been engineered to meet with all energy demands.
The Solar Pod - this proven product is already in use right across UK and provides all year round savings. It harvests the suns energy to provide up to 60kVA of power, from a combination of solar panels & batteries, backed up by a small diesel generator. There are 3 models available: 15kVA, 30kVA & 60kVA.
The Power Pod - reduces carbon emissions and fuel costs by storing energy to provide offline power to a site. The AJC EasyCabin Autosmart system ensures that all the operator needs to do is switch on and use. There are three power options – 60, 100 and 200kVA. The Power Pod can also be used in conjunction with a Solar Pod; allowing an operator to effectively increase the power storage potential of the Solar Pod. In addition, the Power Pod has the capability to control the Solar Pod’s integral backup generator to charge and meet power demands.
And finally, the Solar Smart – a flexible solar panel arrangement completed the AJC EasyCabin line up. The Solar Smart provides sustainable power to temporary sites. The system has been designed to be plugged directly into an existing power supply. The special Solar Smart box auto-switches power between the local power supply and solar panels depending on demand. Solar Smart has been designed to reduce fuel costs and lower harmful emissions. There are no complicated electrical installations required – just ‘plug ‘n’ play’.
“It was the best show we have ever done”, confirmed Lisa Gillett, AJC’s sales director. “We received a huge amount of enquires for our complete range. In particular, our new Power Pod drew loads of interest. In fact, our whole Solar Smart Site setup attracted keen interest from hire firms seeking more sustainable options for their own rental fleets.”
Launched in 2007, Executive Hire Show is a national exhibition for the tools, equipment and plant hire industry. The show was held on 6th and 7th February 2020, at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
