This programme will provide an important route into the modular and relocatable buildings sector, helping to develop the skilled workforce the industry needs for the future.

Did you know the CITB National Construction College (NCC) offers a Construction Assembly and Installation Operative Apprenticeship, specialising in relocatable modular and portable buildings ?

 

Designed to equip apprentices with practical, industry-ready skills, the programme covers a wide range of disciplines, including:

 

  • Plumbing

  • Electrical observations

  • Painting and decorating

  • Floor finishes
  • Internal joinery and fixtures
  • Ceiling and internal wall finishes

How long is the apprenticeship ?

 

The apprenticeship runs for 18 months, including 18 weeks of residential training at NCC England East. With continuous start dates available throughout the year, employers can enrol apprentices when the timing is right for their business.

Grants and funding

 

Eligible employers may be able to claim CITB apprenticeship grants to help support the cost of training.

 

To qualify, employers must:

  1. Be CITB registered
  2. Be up to date with Levy Returns
  3. Meet the requirements set out in the CITB Grants Scheme Policy
  4. Support off-the-job training with an approved apprenticeship provider (NCC is an approved provider)
  5. Support the apprentice through to successful completion of their apprenticeship.

Our team will guide eligible employers through the funding process and provide support every step of the way.
