The Financial Times names Nixon Hire as one of their Reinvention Champions for 2025
For the second year, the Financial Times sought out European companies across seven different sectors that have made radical changes to their business models, products and services to stay relevant in an evolving world. They invited nominations and a panel of judges then chose the best examples in seven sectors; Retail & Consumer, IT & Software, Media & Education, Banking & Financial Services, Healthcare, Industry & Manufacturing and Property & Construction.
We were delighted to have been named their Reinvention Champion in the Property & Construction sector, in recognition of our successful transformation from a generalist hire business into a specialist provider of sustainable sites, which has enabled us to set a new industry benchmark for accountability and environmental responsibility.
Highlights from our nomination included:
"The company has reshaped its strategy underpinned by bold structural changes such as selling its plant fleet and welfare van fleet to focus investment on growth areas through which customers can reduce emissions and improve business outcomes, including its renewable power division."
"To support this, dedicated technical teams and strengthened leadership have been embedded to drive innovation and ensure customers gain maximum benefit from its solutions. Exemplifying this transformation is the Renewable Power Hub, a pioneering in-house engineered control centre that provides customers with unprecedented live visibility of energy use and emissions, helping cut costs, improve performance and boost sustainability."
We are immensely proud to have been recognised by this world-renowned global news publication, praised for its authority, integrity and accuracy. With other category winners this year including IKEA, Synthesia and Relx, we are among an impressive cohort of businesses recognised for reinvention.
CEO Brian Cornett commented, “The next generation is already passionate about sustainability and the environment. It’s reshaping the UK, and we want to play our part in that.”
