Nixon Hire to run a full working sustainable site at PlantWorx 2025
Nixon Hire is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at PlantWorx 2025, the UK’s largest working construction exhibition, as part of the Site Sustainability Showcase, a new feature designed to focus on the benefits of clean site solutions.
On one of the event’s largest plots, Nixon Hire will showcase a fully operational live site setup featuring a range of their full-service sustainable site solutions, running in real conditions as it would on a customer project.
At the heart of the site and available for guests to experience for the first time will be a working replica of Nixon Hire’s Renewable Power Hub, a powerful control centre designed, configured and run by its technical support team and a key proof point for its experts in sustainable sites promise.
This unique system unifies separate assets into a single, digitally connected site. PlantWorx guests will be the first to experience the customer portal, which gives contractors unprecedented live visibility and robust reporting of energy use, uptime and emissions to improve cost control, enhance performance and boost sustainability.
Alongside the 6-bay modular building unit in which the Renewable Power Hub will sit, guests can explore Nixon Hire’s new 32ft Solar Wind Turbine Frame, a system enabling continuous clean power generation through advanced solar panels and wind turbines, with integrated storage for surplus energy.
Guests can also experience the Smartflow Energy Board for real-time monitoring and socket-level control, Eco Lync for managing site demand across solar, battery and generator, and two Solar Hybrid Generators in an interactive demonstration.
Completing the setup will be products from Nixon Hire’s trusted partners, including waste management, portable foundations and site security & safety solutions.
