WSA announces new partnership with Algeco UK
A full-service agency based in Milton Keynes has announced it is the new marketing partner for Algeco UK. WSA The Communications Agency will be supporting Algeco with PR and Social Media activities, helping to share the positive stories of the company and its people to audiences far and wide.
Algeco is the market-leading temporary building solutions provider in the UK, with the largest workspace fleet in the country, operating from strategically located service centres across the nation. After a competitive pitching process, it was decided that WSA was the right partner to join the company on the exciting new chapter of its continued growth journey in 2024.
WSA was previously the long-term public relations and marketing partner of Mobile Mini UK. Last year, Modulaire Group, the parent company of Algeco, announced that it had acquired Mobile Mini UK, further demonstrating a commitment to building a sustainable future focused on three core pillars of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).
Algeco UK and WSA kicked off their new partnership with a visit to one of the exciting projects currently nearing completion, the rapid deployment of the brand-new Northampton School for Boys. The off-site solution is the perfect example of what Algeco UK is capable of, highlighting the breadth of services from modern methods of construction (MMC) to temporary classrooms, all contributing to the end results of a 1200-place new secondary school, including sixth form provision, ready to open its doors to students this summer.
Joe Cuffaro, Director of PR at WSA said, “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and innovative business like Algeco UK. Our experience in the container-hire market, as well as the wider construction and manufacturing industries, combined with our shared values and approaches, made this partnership a perfect match. Visiting the team on-site at Northampton School For Boys has been a fantastic insight into the incredible work of this skilled and diverse team. There are so many exciting stories to share about this progressive business and its hard-working people, we are very proud to play a small part in the future success story of this company.”
Partnering with WSA is just one of the ways Algeco UK has highlighted its intentions and commitments in recent times. Parent company Modulaire Group recently published its latest global sustainability report for 2023, showing that the group is on track to achieve its 2025 goals, with a significant 30.7% reduction of Scope 1 and 2 market-based emissions since 2020.
Algeco UK OSS has also just delivered new barracks to MOD Stafford as part of an £800M investment into SLA by the Army over the next decade, delivering a full turnkey solution, acting as Principal Contractor to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and the British Army.
On these recent successes and partnering with WSA, Sunil Achtar, Algeco UK Marketing Manager said, “We are delighted to partner with WSA Communications for the foreseeable future to support our Public Relations and Social Media activity. WSA have demonstrated their willingness to understand our business and support our strategic growth plans. We would like to thank WSA for their initial support, and we look forward to working with them on a number of exciting projects in the future.”
