School in Ilford
Jackpad Ltd. was asked to supply foundations to support temporary classrooms whilst a new school is being built in Ilford Essex.
In all 22 Elliotthire ELM modules, and 2 Jackleg cabins were used giving a total of 133 positions of support across the bays. The Jackpad system was set and levelled by one contractor in a day and a half, no additional groundworks were required, as the packers sat directly onto the tarmac surface.
Elliotthire took advantage of Jackpads turnkey hire service to deliver, set out and level Jackpads, and then remove and collect all the materials at the end of the hire term.
Kris Cartwright, Business Development Manager for Jackpad says "By hiring the foundations as well as the buildings, it allows the client the opportunity to retain capital and spread the cost over the project"
Six months into the hire of the original bays, an additional five bays were required by the client. Again Jackpads were used as the quickest and most cost-effective method of supporting the additional modules.
Following the removal of the units, the asphalt area will be ready to be used for its intended purpose with immediate effect.
