Genquip Launch Energy Performance Certificates
posted: 7th Apr 2010
As a business committed to improving environmental credentials to site units an Energy Performance Certificate is intended to inform users of the welfare unit about the design energy efficiency of the building. The EPC provided features an asset rating which is based on design performance of the unit itself (the fabric) and its services (such as heating, cooling, lighting etc). The asset rating on the certificate is relative to benchmarking of use of similar category properties. The unit rating is expressed from A to G, where A is very efficient and G is least efficient, the better the rating the more energy efficient the unit could be operated.
Each unit certificate is issued with recommendations for energy improvement, meaning that Genquip can now provide clients with a welfare unit operating with an A rating. All Groundhogs leaving the factory will now be issued with its EPC making this a first for the industry and more information on this exciting project can be found by contacting the sales team at Genquip on 01639 823484
