Modular and Portable Buildings Association (MPBA) member, Pickerings Plant, the fast growing provider of quality portable buildings and related products, has announced its company name has changed to Pickerings Hire Limited. It will use Pickerings as its trading name with immediate effect.
The company name change is due to a significant business transformation and a growing demand for its portable and modular buildings.
Neil Moss, Managing Director of Pickerings Hire Limited, said, “In recent years we have seen an unprecedented demand from our customers for a growing and wider range of portable and modular buildings. As a result, we have invested heavily to ensure our customers can hire the most modern building solutions and associated products in our industry. We believe it is now appropriate to change our company name and logo.”
As part of their continual growth Pickerings is in the process of launching a range of market leading new products aimed at the education, health and commercial sectors. These will be available to hire and buy and give customers even more choice in workspace solutions.
The company has also launched a new website – www.pickeringshire.co.uk – to strengthen its market position in portable and modular building systems and services. Pickerings has also created a new company strapline of “Temporary Spaces for Expanding Places” to reflect its market positioning.
Pickerings started in 1969 as a plant hire business and has a head office in Measham close to the Leicestershire and Derbyshire borders. It operates eleven hire depots nationwide from Southampton and Exeter in the south of England to Middlesbrough and Manchester in the north.
