Power Plastics' new office accommodation

Power Plastics high quality refurbished office accommodationThis seven bay, four year old modular building was acquired specifically to meet an order received by PK for a turnkey project for Thirsk based Power Plastics. A seamless transfer to new office accommodation was required. Everything had to be completed within a tight budget and time frame with minimum disruption to office working.

The general manager for PK Accommodation was also delighted with the outcome, "This contract is a classic example of our target market. We believe that more prudent buyers will see quality refurbished accommodation as a viable alternative."

Gatehouse for Celtic Link Ferries

When Port of Liverpool based Celtic Link Ferries (CLF) needed an office space solution PK Accommodation acquired a 2-bay modular building specifically for refurbishment to their client's requirements. The CLF brief specified a meeting room; an open plan office area; a ticket sales window and both staff and public toilet facilities.

Additionally, CLF also acquired an 8'x 8' (2.4m x 2.4m) gatehouse, which PK was able to select and convert from their extensive stock of reconditioned modular buildings available for hire or purchase.

CLF is a roll-on, roll-off freight ferry terminal operating between Liverpool and Dublin and the terminal manager had a six week lead-time to get the new business up and running. "I know that the team at PK worked around the clock, including a bank holiday, to ensure that my project timescales were met", he explained, "I had some basic designs for the buildings which PK accurately converted into CAD drawings and I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the overall quality of build".
