Interbuild Specifier 2009

Event Date : 18th Oct - 21st Oct 2009

Location: NEC Birmingham

Interbuild Specifier is the leading event for the built environment, dedicated to construction product, process and design. By visiting the show you will be able to source thousands of new products, and find inspiring ideas and innovations in offsite construction. Plus, through the real life, full-scale buildings on show, you can see, touch and test construction solutions in the environments they have been created for.

At the heart of Interbuild Specifier is Sustainability Street, which features several examples of offsite constructed modules and homes, including an affordable home and an instant home. There will also be an example of a low cost, sustainable classroom pod, as well as the Innovation Hub, a showcase of new offsite solutions for the housing, education and hotel sectors from Swift Horsman.

You can also attend the Construction Forum, free, case study led conference which features key clients from across the public and private sector who will debate the big issues including BSF, healthcare, social housing and retail. Featured case studies include Birmingham City Council, Kier Homes, Catalyst Lend Lease, Partnership for Schools, Department of Health, Carillion and Travelodge. The keynote address will be given by Eamonn Boylan, Deputy CEO and Corporate Director of New Ventures and Parternships from the Homes & Communities Agency.
